Water System Certified Field Operator – Salary negotiable
Qualification requirements & Competencies: The field operator position requires weekend, holiday, and flexible shift work which would include pump station and system rounds and emergency repairs. Field Operators are required to work rotational on-call hours and overtime is expected. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift items over 60 pounds. Three or more years of experience in water systems installation, repair, maintenance and meter reading. Must have an Alabama Grade II certification in Treatment and Distribution of Public Water. High school diploma or GED and must possess a valid state driver's license.
